If your child is traveling alone or with a third party, you’ll need a legal travel authorization to meet immigration requirements and avoid issues when entering or leaving the U.S.
When is authorization needed?

- If traveling with only one parent.

- If the destination is outside the country.
In these cases, airlines, immigration officers, and consulates may require a signed and notarized authorization letter.
